The Erasmus+ project Influencing careers of VET students – influVET has officially reached its conclusion with the successful implementation of the final evaluation meeting, held online on 30 March 2026. The meeting was hosted by DOMAS and brought together all project partners from Croatia, Germany and Serbia: DOMAS, Outreach Hannover e.V. and the Centre for Non-Formal Education and Lifelong Learning.
During the meeting, partners reviewed the full implementation of the project and confirmed that all planned activities had been completed successfully and in line with the approved project objectives. The consortium reflected on 16 months of cooperation, during which the project developed practical educational resources, involved VET students and educators, organised national activities, and created an online space for continued access to project results.
A key part of the final evaluation was the review of the three main project results: the R1 Toolkit for VET students, the R2 Curriculum for VET teachers and associated experts, and the R3 Online Project Platform. Partners agreed that these results respond to a real need in vocational education and training, as young people are increasingly influenced by digital professions, social media and influencer culture, while educators often lack structured tools to address these topics in career guidance.
The Toolkit was recognised as a practical resource that can be used directly with students to discuss personal branding, professional online communication, credible sources, digital safety, influencer culture and career planning. The Curriculum was evaluated as a valuable professional development tool for teachers, counsellors, pedagogues, psychologists, youth workers and other experts supporting young people’s career development. The Online Project Platform was confirmed as an important sustainability mechanism, making the project materials openly available beyond the official project period.
Partners also evaluated the national and local activities implemented in Croatia, Germany and Serbia, including Toolkit piloting workshops with VET students, local training courses for educators and national multiplier events. These activities showed that the project results are relevant in different educational and national contexts and can be adapted for VET schools, youth work, adult education, career counselling and teacher training.
Although the influVET project has formally ended, the partnership agreed that dissemination and use of the project results will continue. Partners will keep promoting the Toolkit, Curriculum and Online Platform through their websites, professional networks, future training activities and possible new projects. The materials will remain available for schools, educators, youth organisations and other stakeholders interested in digital career guidance, media literacy, employability and responsible online presence.
The final evaluation meeting confirmed that influVET was implemented successfully, on time and with strong cooperation among partners. The project ends with concrete results, strengthened partnerships and a clear commitment to continue sharing its outcomes in the future.
