Activities in our project
Overview of activities in three countries - Croatia, Germany and Serbia
Our activities in more details: what have we done in the past two years?
Development of educational resources
A core part of the project implementation focuses on the development of innovative educational resources that address career management in the context of influencer careers and digital labour markets.
Two main educational resources are developed:
A Toolkit for VET students, focusing on informed career decision-making, media literacy, and understanding influencer careers.
A Curriculum for VET teachers and associated experts, supporting effective career guidance and counselling in emerging digital professions.
The development process is based on:
Identified needs of target groups
Partners’ professional expertise
Existing research, surveys, and practical experience in VET and non-formal education
Both resources are initially developed in English and translated into Croatian, German, and Serbian to ensure accessibility and transferability across different national contexts.
Piloting workshops for VET students
As part of the influVET project, piloting workshops were organised with VET students in Croatia, Germany, and Serbia to test and validate the Toolkit for VET students in real educational settings. The workshops followed a non-formal, interactive methodology and were implemented in close cooperation with vocational schools representing different educational profiles, including health, business, administration, logistics, and technical fields.
Across all three countries, students showed strong interest in influencer careers and digital professions, but also revealed gaps in structured knowledge about professionalism, ethics, digital safety, and long-term career planning. Through practical exercises and guided reflection, students explored topics such as personal branding, professional online communication, job search strategies, credible sources of career advice, and the realities of influencer work.
The piloting confirmed that the Toolkit effectively connects students’ everyday digital practices with employability-related competences and supports informed career decision-making.
Teachers and facilitators highlighted the value of structured, ready-to-use materials that enable discussions rarely addressed in formal lessons and help bridge the gap between digital culture and vocational education.
Training courses for VET educators and experts
In parallel with student-focused activities, the influVET project implements local training courses for VET teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, and other associated experts. These training courses are based on the developed Curriculum for VET educators and aim to strengthen participants’ capacities in career guidance for emerging digital professions.
The training courses:
Support educators in understanding influencer careers and digital labour market trends
Provide methodologies and tools for effective career counselling
Encourage integration of media literacy and digital competences into career guidance practices
There are three modules, which are ready to use in educational settings.
By empowering educators and experts, the project ensures that the impact of influVET extends beyond individual activities and contributes to long-term improvement of career guidance practices within VET institutions.
Dissemination and multiplier activities
Dissemination activities are integrated throughout the project implementation to ensure visibility, outreach, and sustainable use of project results. Each partner organisation organises national multiplier events aimed at presenting project outcomes to a wider audience of stakeholders.
Dissemination activities include:
National multiplier events and conferences in Croatia, Germany, and Serbia
Engagement with VET schools, NGOs, institutions, and employment agencies
Promotion of project results at local, national, and European level
These activities support the exchange of knowledge, encourage uptake of project resources, and strengthen cooperation between education, civil society, and labour market actors.
Influvet.eu - online project platform
This Online Project Platform plays a central role in project implementation by providing a shared digital space for access to project results and dissemination of activities. The platform ensures that all educational resources, project information, and public outputs remain available beyond the project duration.
Through the platform, the influVET project:
Ensures open access to educational materials
Supports European-level visibility and transferability
Facilitates networking and future cooperation
